Privacy Policy
Your privacy, in plain words.
Last updated October 22, 2026
This page explains what information this site collects, why, who helps me handle it, and how you can see, change, or delete yours. I’m a small, one-woman coaching business, and I collect as little as I can.
01Who I am
This site, riecemorris.com, belongs to Riece Morris Coaching, a small coaching business based in California. When this policy says “I,” “me,” or “my,” it means Riece Morris Coaching. You can reach me anytime at [email protected].
02What I collect
What you choose to give me
- The free guide, Meet your Interpreter: your first name and email. Signing up gets you the guide right away and adds you to my email list, so you’ll also get occasional emails from me. You can unsubscribe anytime.
- Interest lists (for example, Alchemy or the teen workshop): your name and email. The teen workshop list also asks whether you’re a parent, guardian, or teen, and has optional spaces for a teen’s grade or age and any notes you’d like to add.
- Booking a free call: your name, email, the time you pick, and how you’d like to talk, plus a few short answers. The details are just below.
- Emails and coaching: anything you write to me, and what you choose to share in calls and sessions if you become a client.
Booking a free call
When you book your free call, the booking form asks for:
- Your name, your email, and the time you pick.
- Your time zone. Your browser shares it so the times show in your own time zone.
- Whether you’d like to talk on Zoom or by phone. If you choose a phone call, you give me a number to call. You can add a phone number with Zoom too, but you don’t have to.
- Which coaching you’re most curious about, and an optional space for what you’d like to talk about.
The form also has a hidden field that people never see. It’s there to catch spam bots, so real visitors leave it empty. If it gets filled in, the booking is turned away and nothing is saved.
Here’s how your booking is handled:
- The booking page runs code hosted by Google (Google Apps Script). Your browser connects to Google to show the open times and to send your booking.
- Your booking is saved as an event on my Google Calendar, with the details above. If you cancel, the event comes off my calendar.
- Your confirmation, your reminder about a day before the call, and any cancel or reschedule emails are sent through Gmail from [email protected]. I also get an email with your booking details so I’m ready for our call.
- Your emails include a private link to cancel or reschedule. The link holds a random code, not your name, email, or other details. Anyone with the link can change your booking, so please keep it to yourself.
- If you choose Zoom, we meet on Zoom.
- You don’t sign in with Google to book, and the scheduler can’t see your Google account.
Please don’t send sensitive details like health information through a form. If something personal matters for coaching, we can talk about it on a call.
What’s collected automatically
Like most websites, this one keeps basic visit information through Squarespace, the platform that hosts it. That can include your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, the site that sent you here, and your general location (city or region, never your exact address). Squarespace uses cookies to make the site work and to give me simple visitor reports, like which pages are read most.
This site also loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google to get them, and Google can see your IP address when that happens.
The Horse Cost Calculator
The calculator never sends or collects your numbers. If you leave Save my numbers on my own device on, your numbers stay in your own browser on your own computer or phone so you can come back to them. Turn it off, or tap Start over, and they’re erased. I can’t see them, and neither can anyone else.
03How I use it
- To answer your questions and reply to your messages.
- To schedule and hold your free call, sessions, or workshop spot, and to send your booking confirmation and reminder.
- To send the news you signed up for, like when Alchemy enrollment opens or the teen workshop has a date.
- To give you the free Meet your Interpreter guide, and to send occasional emails from me with updates, new tools, guides, books, and coaching news. Every email has a way to unsubscribe.
- To run my coaching business, keep simple records, and handle payments.
- To understand which pages are helpful so I can make the site better.
- To keep the site secure and follow the law.
I don’t sell your information, and I don’t use it for targeted ads.
05Links to other sites
Some links take you off this site, like my guides on Etsy and the online stores that sell my books. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and what you do there (including any purchase) is handled by them, not by me. Please read their policies before you buy.
07Children and teens
This site is meant for adults, and it isn’t directed to children under 13. I don’t knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you’re under 13, please don’t fill out a form here. Ask a parent or guardian to do it for you.
The teen workshop is for teens. A parent or guardian can fill out its interest form, or a teen 13 or older can fill it out with a parent or guardian’s permission. I’ll only use what’s shared to send workshop news. My email list is for adults.
Nothing sent through a form on this site is posted publicly. If you’re under 18 and sent me something, you or your parent or guardian can ask me to delete it.
A parent or guardian can ask me to review or delete anything a teen or child has sent me. Just email me. If I learn I’ve collected information from a child under 13, I’ll delete it.
08How long I keep it
I keep interest list and email list sign-ups (including the list for my free guide) until you unsubscribe, ask to be removed, or the list isn’t needed anymore. If you unsubscribe, I may keep your email address on a do-not-email list so I don’t write to you by mistake. I keep booking and client records as long as needed to provide coaching and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations. Messages I no longer need get deleted.
09Your choices
- See, change, or delete your information: email me and I’ll help. I may ask you to confirm it’s really you first.
- Unsubscribe or leave a list: reply “unsubscribe” to any email from me, or email [email protected]. I’ll take you off within 10 business days. You can still use the site and anything you downloaded.
- My emails: they’ll always say they’re from me, have an honest subject line, include my mailing address, and tell you how to unsubscribe.
- Cookies: use your browser settings to block or clear them.
If you live in California
Riece Morris Coaching is a small business and doesn’t meet the size thresholds of the California Consumer Privacy Act, but I’m glad to honor these requests for anyone who asks. You can ask me what personal information I have about you, ask me to correct or delete it, and ask me not to sell or share it (I don’t do either). I won’t treat you differently for asking. I also don’t share personal information with other companies for their own marketing. To make any request, email me with “Privacy request” in the subject line, and I’ll answer within 45 days.
10Keeping it safe
I use well-known services with their own security, keep my accounts protected, and only look at your information when I need it. No website or email is perfectly secure, though, so please don’t send anything through a form that you’d be upset to lose.
11Changes to this policy
If I change this policy, I’ll post the new version on this page and update the “Last updated” date at the top. If a change is important and I have your email, I’ll let you know. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
12Contact
Questions about your privacy, or a request to see, change, or delete your information? Email [email protected]. I read every message myself.
