You’re welcome to read, share links to, and learn from this site for your own personal use. Please don’t copy it, misuse its forms, try to break or overload it, or use it for anything unlawful. I may update, pause, or remove any part of the site at any time.

If you’re under 18, please use this site’s forms only with a parent or guardian’s permission.

The information here is general. It’s meant to be helpful, and it isn’t advice for your specific situation.

02Coaching is not therapy

I’m a certified life coach and a certified Equus coach. Coaching helps you look at your thoughts, choices, and goals and decide what you want to do next. It is not therapy, counseling, or medical, psychological, or mental health care, and I don’t diagnose or treat any condition. Coaching also isn’t legal, financial, or tax advice.

You’re in charge of your own decisions and what you do with anything we talk about. If you’re working with a doctor or counselor, keep doing that, and talk with them before making changes to your care.

03Sessions with the horses

Equus coaching sessions happen on the ground with horses. There’s no riding, and you don’t need any horse experience. Even so, horses are large, strong animals with minds of their own. They can move suddenly, step on feet, spook, kick, or bite, even when everyone is calm and careful. Being around horses carries real risks that can’t be fully removed, including the risk of injury.

By joining a session, you agree to:

• Follow my safety instructions at all times.
• Wear closed-toe shoes and clothes you can move in.
• Tell me beforehand about any health condition, injury, or pregnancy that could affect your safety.
• Take responsibility for your own choices around the horses.

I may pause or end a session anytime I feel it isn’t safe for you, others, or the horses.

Before your first session, you’ll be asked to read and sign a separate waiver and release. For anyone under 18, a parent or guardian signs it on their behalf. If anything in the signed waiver differs from these terms, the waiver applies.

04Calls, coaching, and workshops

Your first call with me is free, and booking it doesn’t commit you to anything. You can cancel or reschedule it anytime before it starts, using the link in your confirmation email. If we decide to work together, the details of your coaching, such as the schedule, fees, and cancellation policy, will be shared with you in writing before you begin. Those details apply alongside these terms.

Workshops and groups have their own details (dates, location, what’s included, and any refund policy) on their page or registration. Interest lists only mean you’ll hear news first. They don’t reserve a spot or create any obligation.

05Guides, books, and Etsy

My digital guides are sold through my shop on Etsy, and my books are sold through other online stores. When you buy there, the store’s own terms, policies, and checkout apply, including payments, downloads, delivery, and refunds. Questions about an order can go through that store, and you’re always welcome to email me too.

Guides and books are for your own personal use. Please don’t resell, share, or post the files or pages unless the listing says you can.

06Free tools and resources

The Horse Cost Calculator and other free resources on this site are for planning and organizing. They aren’t financial, legal, tax, insurance, or veterinary advice. Costs vary a lot by area, so use your own local quotes, and ask the right professional about your own situation.

Free downloads, like the Meet your Interpreter guide, are for your own personal use. You’re welcome to share a link to this site instead of the file. Signing up for a free download adds you to my email list, as explained in my Privacy Policy, and you can unsubscribe anytime.

07My words, photos, and ideas

Everything on this site, including the writing, photos, logo, guides, worksheets, and designs, belongs to Riece Morris Coaching or is used with permission. You’re welcome to quote a line with credit and a link back. Please ask me before using anything else.

08No guarantees

Coaching works best when you put yourself into it, and everyone’s life is different. I’ll bring my full care and attention, but I can’t promise any particular result. Stories shared on this site are real people’s experiences, and yours may be different.

09Limits of my responsibility

This site and its free content are offered “as is.” I work to keep it accurate and up to date, but I can’t promise it’s complete, error-free, or always available.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Riece Morris Coaching isn’t responsible for losses or damages that come from using this site, relying on its content, or using other websites it links to. If I’m ever found responsible for something, my responsibility is limited to the amount you paid me for the service involved. Nothing in these terms limits responsibility that the law doesn’t allow to be limited, such as for fraud, gross negligence, or intentional harm. Some places don’t allow these limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

10California law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law rules. If a disagreement comes up, I’d always rather talk it through first, so please email me. If we can’t sort it out, it will be handled in the state or federal courts located in California.

11Changes to these terms

I may update these terms from time to time. I’ll post the new version here and change the “Last updated” date at the top. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. If any part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies.
